Sheriene has lived in Castro Valley for nearly 40 years. The 14th District is not an abstract map to her. It is home: the schools, local businesses, neighbors, and community ties that shaped her.

Raised by a single mother, she knows the pressure of choosing between food for the family and the utility bill. She knows what it means to want an education while facing the reality of tuition. That lived experience grounds how she listens and why she is running.
